It has officially been a year and a half since I was pregnant and I am finally regaining control and moderation over my cravings and my life in general. Once we got back from vacation in New York we decided to give our ideal diet plan and fitness routine a fair shot. After one month, my body totally responded. Previously, I had tried all of my old tricks to kick the baby weight but nothing was getting me past the hump. I was still, for the most part, eating whatever I wanted and hoped that exercise alone would help my body shed extra pounds. Reading The Calorie Myth by Jonathan Bailor changed our lives. We really got onboard with the diet and that alone is primarily why my body started changing. Once I added in the weight lifting portion, my body really changed. I got quick noticeable muscles, started losing more fat, was able to easily pick up my kids, had more energy and had new found confidence in my strength. What a transformation! At first we were juicing a lot to cleanse from our vacation but then we fell in love with blended smoothies. I really look forward to them everyday.
