I printed my goal chart with rewards for hitting milestones today! I've come a long way after the pregnancy and am excited that eating healthy has also had positive side affects on my body, i.e. weight loss. I lost almost ten inches around my waist just from my body healing after pregnancy. It's so amazing how the body can carry a child and heal afterwards.
Some of my favorite dinners out of our new cookbook include slow cooked pork ribs, balsamic vinaigrette dressing, whole roasted chicken with onions and oranges, and baked bacon. Such yummy meals and I've gotten to learn so much about cooking in the last few weeks. This diet has changed so much about our lives!
I started incorporating more physical activities into my lifestyle. In time it'll be on a more regular basis but for now, it takes a bit to heal after each outing. My goal is to walk around our local lake and slowly integrate some running. I did one walking lap the other week and hurt for days. Time to do some core work with pilates!
